As a result of their match being abandoned, no Bangor City or Connah’s Quay Nomads player was selected in the ‘Team of the Week’.
GK-Paul Harrison-(THE NEW SAINTS)
Made several good saves to stop Cardiff Met gaining the lead, and deserved his clean sheet.
CB-Dave Vincent (CARMARTHEN TOWN)
Solid the few times he had to defend against a poor Bala Town, and added plenty of threat to his side’s attack, even getting on the scoresheet with a well taken goal.
CB-Mike Williams (LLANDUDNO)
Looked confident all afternoon defensively, and scored a sensational goal to secure 3 points for the in-form Llandudno.
CB-Nathan Peate (CEFN DRUIDS)
Was kept busy by Prestatyn all afternoon, but kept going and managed to salvage a point for his side with a late goal.
RM-Jamie Mullan (THE NEW SAINTS)
Is quickly proving himself as a key player for The New Saints. Was a constant threat, and kept causing Cardiff Met FC problems.
CM– Noah Edwards (PRESTATYN TOWN)
Capped a tenacious display in midfield with a well taken goal.
CM-Kieran Lewis (CARMARTHEN TOWN)
Was a threat throughout for Carmarthen vs Bala, creating many of his side’s best chances and scoring a sensational free kick.
LM-Joe Kenton (NEWTOWN)-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
On his first start of the season, the winger was a constant threat for the Robins, and capped off a brilliant performance with 2 goals. Deservedly this week’s Player of the Week.
CF-Kostya Georgievsky (CARMARTHEN TOWN)
Constant threat for a Carmarthen Town side that stunned Bala Town, and scored a very good header to open the scoring in the 5th minute.
ST-Neil Mitchell (NEWTOWN)
Mitchell put in a very good performance up front for Newtown, grabbing a goal as the Robins ran rampant vs Aberystwyth.
ST-Ashley Ruane (CEFN DRUIDS)
Ruane continues to prove his doubters wrong, and played very well once again as Cefn Druids drew 2-2 with Prestatyn Town. Was a danger throughout and opened the scoring for the Druids with a very good goal.
