MD9 team

GK-Ashley Morris (BALA TOWN)
Conceded one, but pulled off some fantastic saves to keep Newtown at bay, as Bala Town finally ended their poor run of form.

RCB-Declan Walker (ABERYSTWYTH TOWN)
Was impressive as Aberystwyth Town as they picked up their first win of the season. Scored a very good header to put Aberystwyth 1-0 up.

CB-Jonny Spittle (ABERYSTWYTH TOWN)
Has been the standout player so far for Aberystwyth Town. Put in a commanding performance at the back, and scored the 90th minute winner for his side.

LCB-Nathan Peate (CEFN DRUIDS)
Couldn’t do much to stop Barry Town’s goal, but otherwise put in a very solid performance for the Druids against Barry Town United.

RM-Eliot Evans (CARDIFF MET FC)
Put in a very good performance for the Students, scoring 2 and setting up 1 as they completed a stunning comeback against Bangor City.

CM-Chris Seargeant (THE NEW SAINTS)-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
In sensational form for the reigning champions, and continued to impress as he scored 2 and set up 1 as TNS ran rampant against Prestatyn Town.

CM-Jon Routledge (THE NEW SAINTS)
Scored 1 in a match in which he dominated possession in midfield.

LM-Jordan Evans (BALA TOWN)
The young winger scored twice as the Lakesiders ended a bad run of form with a win against Newtown. Simply outstanding performance.

RW-Ryan Wignall (CONNAH’S QUAY NOMADS)
Dominating performance from the winger, as he scored 1 and set 1 up for his team. A nuisance throughout as Carmarthen struggled to stop him throughout.

ST-Lewis Buckley (CEFN DRUIDS)
The 25 year old put in an impressive performance for the Druids, scoring twice as they came from behind to beat Barry Town 3-1.

LW-Jamie Mullan (THE NEW SAINTS)
Dangerous throughout for The New Saints, as he scored 1 and set up 2 on a day where TNS proved their quality against Prestatyn Town.
